This report concerns the state of design in our world driven by information technology. The most important designing is ontological. It constitutes an intervention in opposition to product design which only exists as a reaction to society, a mimetic loop. Ontological design deeply affects the type of beings we want to become. It is necessarily reflective and political. The ontological [linguistic] project moves us forward while the product [mimetic] project is both defined by and bound by heritage. It is a pathway to regression. For women, being alive means participating in a global dialogue about emancipation. For men, being alive means participation in an echo chamber promoting an addiction to drops and releases.
